Big thanks to
@Edward Lowy and everyone at GM for inviting us to their launch, as always a thoroughly enjoyable experience, bettered this year by the addition of a net at Trent Bridge with all the new gear. I was interviewed post net by Cricket World about GM and the launch, i was a bit sweaty and hungover from GM plying us with lots of drinks so i'm not sure i'll make the edit if/when that video is released!
Whilst not overly important to most of the bat buying public out there, I must reinforce once again that GM are the only brand that treats retailers this way, coupled with the largest number of bats produced by anyone in the UK from extremely high quality materials by a team of experts who have more knowledge than most people could dream of having, you start to see why a GM product is usually in prime position in a cricket shop.
We as retailers get to see everything that goes on when it comes to manufacture, from tree to bat, we are involved by the brand in everything, from the launch, the feedback that goes into subsequent ranges, to always well received drinks at that bar!
The brand cares, about us as retailers, about you as cricketers, and supplying everyone with the best they can produce. As long as the product is top notch (which it certainly is) then you wont go too far wrong if you follow retailer advice and buy a GM bat made by England's best.
