Picked up a 10 straight grained bat(nearly new) month or so back off eBay
The seller said it was made in Sussex but wouldn't say where

It completely blank with a black toe guard
I think it might be a TK bat
What am I looking for to tell? Cream binding underneath the grip
It weighs 2lb 8 and goes fantastically well

Binding is the easiest tell tail sign. It's cream, quite tightly bound and almost shiny to touch, doesn't feel like string.

The shoulders will have a specific taper that's easy to spot, get some pics up as others have said

Carlo the bat Tim made for me when you placed it face down looking up  from the toe towards the handle the shape of the toe looks like an upside down letter W that's been slightly flatterned

I'm confident but you never know. Not as good as deal as @edge 1p salix which turned out a non salix in the end

There's loads of superb bat makers around not sure anything feels as good as a TK made bat myself

Haha! Well I'm happy it looks like a TK bat. The seller just said made in the south of England when I bought it.

Have to say it did cross my mind as he's a Sussex player  it could just be light weight ....

It's a big bat for 2lb 8 oz and goes beautifully. Who knows?
