Notts, South or West Yorkshire winter nets
« on: September 11, 2017, 06:25:56 PM »

Hi everyone

Having missed most of the season through injury I'm keen for a few winter sessions - any takers? In a perfect world stumps at Wakefield on a week night would suit me but happy for any suggestions.

I'd be keen for a net or two at stumps during the winter.

Yes. I'll have a word with Zak next week as I am heading over to Stumps for a bowling machine session as I've still got 2 weekends of cricket.

Great thanks Tim @Lumsden if you could maybe go for a 19:30-21:00 or 20:00-21:30 slot to give people chance after work?

@Lumsden  Hi Tim - appreciate you're probably still playing 😂 Did you have a word with Zak? If not I can and suggest a couple of dates early November. Thanks

Actually popped down tonight and spoke to Zak about this.

We can half of Stumps (2 lanes) for a flat fee of £5 per person. That includes 10-15 minutes batting against the bowling machine and around the same amount of time facing whatever pies myself and others serve up in the other lane. Start around 7pm and finish when everyone is knackered. Zak said he also doesn't mind feeding the balls into the bowling machine.

Just need to agree on a day.
