100% this - we (the UK) in general think far too much into the classic 'low and slow' claims. Just look at your bat and I bet a large majority of the ball marks will be higher than expected - unless you're getting right to the pitch of the ball the chances are you're playing off what would be classed as a high middle.
Being 6ft 3 I used to go with a low middle (overthinking my height), but having switched to a fairly high sweetspot a few years back I've never looked back.
Plus, it picks up miles better - what's not to like?!
Years ago , i thought the same , I'm 6ft3 too , thought i need a low middle . When i switched to mid-high middles i wondered why i hadnt made the switch earlier .
Also , good mid-high middles still go ok near the toe . I tend to think , of all middle positions , it's most difficult to achieve/find a long sweetspot on a low middle bat - a lot of mid middle bats go as good low as low middle bats but go better higher up too .
