@FattusCattus - looking at the gears I believe it's all Champ made. Even at 50% off it probably isn't worth it to be brutally honest!

I brutally agree. Far better to do a swapsy / purchase with a friendly forumite for something decent than venture into the murky underworld of off-forum cricket retailers.

Whoever made them I wouldn't buy one!
Buying kit with the word Duck written on there is just tempting fate... :-[

I have the fortitude players bat from them. Not sure who makes them but its a lovely bat. Profile similar to a SS bat. At 50% I think its a bargain as most SS G1 bats are now £150+

In retrospect that was quite obvious!

Refurbed 2 over the past few years. Both were very average in terms of performance but both were 'top grade' in appearance. I've seen quite a few at Somerset county sports in Taunton, they pick up ok, tend to be low middles and round handles so not really for me.
You can get a cheaper and better performing bat elsewhere Is my conclusion.

Lad i play with has 2, i've only wafted them around. They pick up like feathers but considering the weights of bat that i use, anything under 2.12 does!

His main match bat goes like a train though, he's hit some long balls
