The only bats that will make any difference are the ridiculous laminates like @Churchy1989's which he needs to bring to southern nets

I won't be taking any notice for amateur bats, all a bit of a farce anyway - we all know it'll make 0 difference

I know that GN will keep making the Pro Performance which is unlikely to be compliant. The Kronus Halestorm has a "double edge" which allows it to be big but fit into the gauge, kind of like the Vortex from a few years ago. Kookaburra will all be compliant, and the Fever Max is designed to be the absolute maximum specs whilst still compliant.

These restrictions are laughable, in my opinion.

You will still see miss-hits going for sixes instead of a catch in today's 60 meter boundaries.

In my opinion, 30 mm edge and 50 mm spine in an 80 meter boundary will separate boys from men.

Get the edges bit but they should of left the spine alone. Batsman should be rewarded for using the middle of the bat.

Aussie made GN Velocity & XXX are still bigger than regulation size. Atleast the ones i got from Meulemans.

From personal experience, few players who I feel are affected by this law (for sure) are; Shoaib Malik, Davis Warner, Kamran Akmal and MS Dhoni.
