Surely they just terminated him because he received a formal reprimand from the ECB for something that has not yet been made 100% clear. Adidas might have just seen an opportunity to get out of the deal - after all cricket gear is not really a core market for them... clothes and sports wear yes but bats and gloves and helmets etc... I wouldn't have thought so.... given he had plenty of good coverage this summer I just wonder if they saw no real uplift in cricket gear sales and decided the ROI wasn't worth it.

Surely if he had had another deal lined up then it would have been a quick turn around to show him off... And I doubt he would have been posting blank gear pics with blacked out Adidas logos on his gloves.

He will pick up a good deal though... time will tell I guess.

I’d be astonished if Bairstows contracted has been ‘terminated’ due to a minor conflict with the rules.

Echo the Gunn and Moore shout I think j trott did wonders for them, yjb could do the same

A bit odd there’s no sponsor so far thou!
