Cooks bat looks a lovely chunk of willow
Would love to have a little tap with that to check how soft it is pressed
Not sure taking a little wood from that areas gonna lose an ounce but hey ho

N O’Brien used too, it would save very little weight. You’d be amazed what an ounce of wood looks like. I’m sure Ryan posted up once just how big a chunk it is.

I know cane and willow arent the same mass/weight/density wise but when i chop the knob off the top of my handles the off cut knob usually weighs 0.5oz or a wee bit more.

The shoes will mean very little, could still end up being sponsored by one of the other big brands (don't forget NB are the kit supplier so they'll all have been given a few pairs regardless of their equipment sponsor).
