A bit of help...who’s the bat maker?
« on: November 19, 2017, 10:25:43 AM »

So this has been my match bat for 4 Years, pings like anything.
Bought it off eBay - got scammed into thinking it was a real hammer (before I joined the forum), blessing in disguise.

Looking for a bit of help about who’s the bat maker so I can get it replicated? Thanks in advance

@Vulcan Cricket can do an amazing repair job and clean up.

Why do you think it's not an original Hammer, not that I can remember who made there bats most likely TK though

@SOULMAN1012 is that a salix?

Toe and shape of the bat look salix to me...

Shape is very similar to the prestantia shape, but shoulders are not as dropped as most of the ones AJK. Are but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t one that Ben or Ian could have shaped.

In all honesty it could as little difference between AJK or TK as high taught at same time and by same person

Was bought of that morris guy on eBay - so could’ve been any brand, didn’t match any of the hammer shapes at the time.

Thanks i’ll give him a shout

LOL.

I was shocked to read the first statement but then read the "scammed" part.

I think you should remove the stickers. :D

Regarding shape, I'd say it is a TK - it reminds me of my (classic) Amplus which is TK made but middle on this bat is lower than a classic Amplus.
