I too went for the darker backing, as per the earlier bespoke pads on the thread, to avoid the inevitable sweat and dirt stains that accumulate over seasons that have made previous pads feel and look grubby. For the first time, as someone who is incredibly picky about their softs, Tom has offered the opportunity for me to not compromise on anything with a pad.
I wanted dark backing, to choose the colours - i loved the Gray Nics Supernova colour scheme and the light blue is a nod to Coventry City, matching my B3's sky blue and white stickers...
I wanted towel-backed straps, to choose the instep material and to be able to match some sausage finger gloves is a bonus.
I love the gold and white range. Congrats on how they've turned out, and I'm beyond delighted with mine. Definitely worth the wait and Tom has been great throughout with the design, answering questions and keeping me updated. I'd recommend designing a set!
