I think the main difference between the Blast and BBL is that the Aussies treat every Big Bash game as if it's the greatest event in Christendom (since the last match).

Looks like someone’s GCSE design Project in both terms of design and application of them...along with the finishing to a few of the Bats. Do we think this is his own brand ala Luke Wright?

Seems like his own brand from the twitter comments .
Dodgy looking finishing , stickers , and no consistency with his counterbalances....would do my kit ocd no good at all .
Geez , why not at least launch the brand with something that looks decent enough to buy.

Jos Buttler is in some serious form. Darcy Short was brilliant to watch last night too. I was waiting for an innings like that.

Interesting that McCullum said the “knob” on the end of his handle was to stop his hand slipping off when he “slogs” it and not a counterbalance at all.

God I love the consistently bad fielding the BBL has.

KP has a similar 'knob' on the end of his handle.

Just a shame it's wearing gloves and talking nonsense.

The overall standard seems to have gone down this yr...the number of misfields and dropped catches is shocking.

I think that's why most people have them, as a grip locator rather than anything else. You'd need a hell of a lot of weight to really do anything, and when it's on the same side of the pivot as the rest of the bat is it really a counterbalance anyway?

Reading the racing post at work now and reading that the brand name is the name of the bloodstock company he owns! And that particular bat he was using today is named after his favourite racehorse!

Old Powerspot (or what at least looks like one) being used by Ingram for the Strikers.  Definitely look like a lot smaller piece of willow.

Also on the evidence of some shots the ball not flying quite as far.... well from what I have seen.

He played really well Ingram. Another cracking game from Archer too.

You boys need to find a loop hole to get Jofra into the English system sooner rather than later... gun! Rating him big time at Hobart

Denly and Braithwaite replacing Roy and Billings at the Sixers
Bresnan replacing Willey at the Scorchers

http://www.cricket.com.au/news/carlos-brathwaite-sydney-sixers-kfc-big-bash-league-bbl-joe-denly-jason-roy-sam-billings/2018-01-07?mode=amp&__twitter_impression=true

Will be interesting to see how Denly gets on.
