No sponsorship for your One Day International kit then?
@jd163 nice collection - can you share more info on the holder Ton please
Like many fellow forumers I’ve had to wait for the wife to be out to post my kit. Otherwise even more of it would have to go on Ebay. I’ve got a soft spot for Indian made bats hence the MRF & BAS After trying loads of pads, unbranded OLS are great quality and don’t trouble my FKW OCDGloves L-R Woodstock, Phantom & RS - I like plain as possible. Like GN shoes their 10.5 is perfect fit for me (spikes to field & pimples to bat)Lid Albion C&D - I’m old and like it. Bag superb from this very forum
Does a pro reject bat make it into a standard bat? Otherwise, companies like kookaburra where their sponsored players go through their mountains of bats to pick what they like, have millions of bats like this. Sorry if this sounds negative but the 'this was used by.....' and 'this was rejected by....'. Is a load of crap to me. Vitas cricket said it right. The pros have the same choice as a good retailer.
It does not sound negative at all. I am not a fan myself of "Pro used" & "Pro reject" bat nonsense. This was found by a friend on his trip to SS factory and brought back to US for me along with 6 more bats for other friends. With the likes of Stu made GN 50+, XP80s & Signature in my collection i really want see the difference of SS bat made for their sponsored International players.
Noticed any difference of the SS bat made for sponsored intl players?
Yes a big difference in ping & sound compared to an off the shelf SS maximus but still a bit less than the GN50+. GN50+ is also very big in size compared to this (51mm edge, 75mm spine & 2-15 weight).
Sourced by a friend who got connections in SS factory. One of 5 bats made for Jason Holder CPL/New Zeland tour.Specs: Longblade & LonghandleWeight: 2-9.6Edges: 40mmSpine: 64mmProfile: DuckbillConcaving: nonePickup: Very balanced and feels very light with 2nd grip.Ping Video: https://youtu.be/sLV8el7Qm0k
How do I get sourced?!?!
