Mighty Willow Black Edition
« on: January 18, 2018, 12:40:50 PM »

Does anyone have any experience of the Mighty Willow Black Edition? The only reviews I can find are the AOC gear test 2017 for the Pearl and IJC video review...which looks great but they seem to be the only stockist. Any independent insight would be appreciated.

TK made = good quality.

If you like the stickers I'm sure you'll get a good stick.

I swear everything is made by TK.

I half expect to open a tube of Pringles and find those tell-tale, TK signs on each one!

Cheers, I decided to take the plunge. Bought direct from MW as they do a package deal which was a no brainer - pads inc. less than the bat alone! Managed to find a discount code too which took it into my price range.

- Biggie, code popped up on Facebook 'Welcome30', on their site they have a Welcome10 code but the 30% worked for me....in retrospect I should have tried Welcome50!

Anyway, arrived 7:45am this morning so quick delivery. Packaging wasn't great, but arrived without damage. I'll get some pics up soon.

So a bundle deal plus 30% off? Amazed that IJC would even stock them offering deals like that directly - £217.00 for a Grade 1 TK, Gloves and Pads is a very cheap deal!!

Edges - 36mm
Spine - 64mm
Toe - 25mm
Weight 2'8.5lbs

First impressions, really pleased....if there is a mistake with the package deal and discount they're not getting it back!

Pads 790grams.

.....and a pick of the lad's Newbery daredevil which arrived yesterday (looking forward to prepping the bats together).

Code still works. Sadly "welcome50" doesn't ;) £157 for a G2, pads and shipping is equally impressive IMO

Yes, was going to go for the sapphire deal but I'm not a fan of the modern style pads.

That's pretty crazy value for what is seemingly a high end bat! Anyone else owned one to comment? Didn't see it mentioned but bat bag included?
