Not a fan of em

Playing on low slow wickets like I do, it’s a recipe for a broken toe

Ok if your on rock hard tracks etc

I'm with you guys here, it's becoming harder and harder to find bats with the spine running through the toe which is a real shame.

Glad to see few have same opinion.

it is becoming difficult to find full profile bats. especially indian market is providing all VK profile and stuff i hate that.

agree with northern monkey. newbery tour profile is awesome .  I saw aldred titan bats photos that seems a decent profile to me but cant afford one at moment .

It’s easy for a batmaker to lop the toe off and get instant amazing pick up
Takes a lot more skill, to profile a bat evenly, and get decent balance/pick up

Paul can make you a really nice bat using Butterfly willow, for a very competitive price. He's always responsive on email, drop him a line.

Personally really like duckbill but not the dolphin profile.

I really like the Kahuna profile that runs all the way into the toe

Kahuna profile works very well for me. Helps in aggressive front foot play and on low bounce wickets.

Hi everyone

If you are able to move the balance point to the area of your liking, duckbill bats are a lot of fun to play with. I prefer bats with high-middle but a duckbill with counter weight at the handle can be equally powerful.

Take some time to figure out which profiles work for your style of batting and then you can make any shape bat work for you.
