Aero Inners
« on: January 19, 2018, 02:53:59 PM »

Might have been covered but has anyone used and can they let me know how the Aero inners feel compared to standard ones. By standard I mean non padded chamois.

I'm not close to a shop that sells them to give them a try.

Also, which ones would be best to choose, P1 or P2?

Thx

Love the Aero inners.  I use P2's. Perfectly adequate for protection and mobility.  I'm 5:11" tall.  i tried the P1's before buying my second pair  of P2's.  The P1's were just too big for my liking.  They actually felt unnecessarily large.

They dont move around when running, and are very very comfy.

Just make sure you choose the right size.  Would I get another pair once my current ones wear out?  Yep!!

I use the Aero P2 Strippers and they're great. I've had mine since 2010 and they're still in one piece. If you're not used to wearing thigh pads then the first 5-10 times you wear them it will feel odd, but after that you don't even think about it at all.

I'm 5"8 on a good day, so I use the P2's in a small size. They're light and not too bulky size-wise either such that the gap between the bottom of the thigh pad and the top of the pad is almost impossible to hit. I think they recommend the P1's if you're facing 80mph+ bowling but I've faced that sort of speed with the P2's and have found no issue.

RRP tends to be around £40 or so but if you're sharp online you could find some for £30.

I’ve used the P1’s for a few years now and love them.  If you want a thinner glove go for the P2’s

I personally don’t like them - but I have a pair I’ve used twice - PM me and I’ll send them to you.

Another vote for P1's, wouldn't want to go back to standard inners now I've used these.

@Six Sixes Cricket do you stock them Rob? Could do with a new pair.
