The Fat Cricketer Returns!
« on: January 23, 2018, 11:18:14 PM »

Sold the go-pro before Christmas as didn't really use it.

Purchased a Cheaper alternative and gave it a run out tonight at our indoor game.

Plenty of rusty Bowling and batting in here haha but that's what indoor is all about!

will record all our indoor games and post them in here. missed the first week as didn't have the camera then.

How do you find the bounce at Headingley?

When I played there a few times for uni in October I found that unless it was full I couldn’t get over the ball! Any half decent medium pacer seemed to be able to fire it down at your throat

Good footage and the quality looked decent.
Which cheaper alternative did you buy?

SJCAM 5000 ELITE it was £100

much cheaper than my gopro hero4 black that was close to £300 when new

quality is not much different at all!

I second this... I bought a cheaper alternative to see if I could justify going full GoPro but the quality was rubbish.

It’s really noticeable how still and level you keep your head while keeping Simmy.

All about the quality of the equipment used...
