Looking for a new bat
« on: January 29, 2018, 10:40:37 PM »

I am from Canada and looking to buy a new bat. I am 5'9" and a front foot player. Bat on 2nd down. The one which I am using now is of SS brand. Ping is good but only on the exact middle of the bat. If I hit the ball a little lower, not exact lower, it doesnt go anywhere.

My team mate is using Robert bat pack and BAS players edition. Really impressed with both of those but are little expensive for me. I am willing to spend CAD $ 250.

My preferences:

Weight - 2.10 - 2. 12
Sweet spot - Low to mid
Excellent ping
9-10 grains

Have checked Newberry, blank bats and other available on prodirect cricket, but they are also expensive.

Any suggestion? Thank you!

There are a couple of good ones listed on EBay USA site, including a H4L Warbird Pro, and an Affinity Carbine.

If you’re willing to go up to 2.13, I have the best pinging bat you’ll ever find. I am also in Toronto to boot.
