Strange Pro Weapon
« on: February 06, 2018, 09:04:04 PM »

Hello all

Thought some of you fellow badgers on here may find this as interesting as I did yesterday.

James kettleboroughs blueroom in the pack cave getting some tlc.

Really chunky profile and a massive flat toe. Stunning grains as well.
What’s strange is the fact he’s something like 6ft3 and the bat is slightly shorter than a standard Harrow  :o

Each to their own I guess!

Pro pressing?

I would be really happy if I had a rob pack bat. They are excellently made.

It’s very odd is what it is. Felt like an absolute canon as well tapping it up.
Made me wonder what other weird and wonderful things people might be using that go against the norm.

Would also be interesting to see how many times he has been cleaned up by Yorkers 😂

I don’t believe so. I’ve not seen puma at the cave for 2-3 years

Echo what adie said mate, I didn’t see anything there to suggest he could do a puma branded refurb/repair anymore.

In the initial stages of getting something of this size made up in my specs - it’ll make quite a weapon at 2.11.

@Sivlar13 is Rob Pack making it or are you getting it made elsewhere?
I’m thinking of speaking to Rob and seeing if he can do me a replica @ 2.9 or 2.10 at the most. Hopefully he’s got some lightweight clefts in at the moment.

Elsewhere mate. Sure Rob would sort you right out. You can get some huge edges with this size of bat.

2.12 with 40mm edges. Blade is around a size 5/6 height with a full length short handle. The bat next to it is a Harrow.
