Woman moaning she can�t exercise because their playing cricket! What a stupid woman - unaustralian!

Was watching a game at Downend, Bristol, many years ago, lovely little ground (where WG played) roads on two sides and a house on another, tiny ground. The lady who lived in the house next to ground came and set up a picnic on the square saying she had had enough of the cricket balls going into her garden. Now that ground has been there about a thousand years, so she must have had an idea that would be the case when buying the house.

Rumour has it that Tres scored a double hundred there in an U15 20/20 game, my mates dad claims to have seen it.

Had a game stopped by the police once batsman hit the ball into a garden fielder went to get it got into an argument with the resident who wouldn't give him the ball back he called the police stated the fielder had been abusive police came to the ground with the resident and brought the ball back arguement broke out in the pavillion police warned the fielder.

we had to stop a game once.

One of our players was doing the dirty on his mrs.

and she came to game and was trying to knock him out when he was fielding haha

he went off to sort it out and we played with 10 for a bit

Playing a game in Hale Barnes Manchester when a helicopter landed on the pitch and dropped off a family that had been shopping at Harrods. Apparently they give the club �200 every time it lands and takes off. Keeps it at the airport, how the other half live just walked through the gate at the back of the house.

Oh i almost forgot, we played away once an a hot air ballon landed on the pitch. The home team captain received a bottle of whiskey from the pilot, which is apparently the custom. Our team didn't get a drop of it.

20/20 finals day won the semi final
Wicket keepers Mrs turned up before the final and dragged him away saying he needs to spend more time with his family leaving us with no keeper.

Played a school game many moons ago and the game was held up by someone running across the pitch with 3 policemen in hot pursuit.

Most recent one was at Bushy Park where a herd (?) of deer ran across the pitch causing a bit of chaos amongst the fielding team!

Once had a Sunday league game held up at Queen�s Park chesterfield because a group of about 30 �youths� decided one of them needed the crap kicking out of them and he circled the squat trying to escape, quite amusing to watch from the balcony, out two set batsmen got out fairly quickly after that though

A lot time back Had a herd of cows come across the pitch. Few of them were pretty aggressive - we were off for a while and they left some lovely marks on the pitch
