Redback Paradox or Millichamp & Hall??
« on: February 20, 2018, 06:56:21 PM »

In need of a new bat for the upcoming season. Had a Redback for 6 years and its finally given up. I'm toying between getting a new paradox then I saw the M&H Prostate Cancer bat....
Just after some advice, which one you would/wouldn't recommend as I cant decide...

M&H will probably perform better, will gain a cracked toe more quickly, and set you back more cash. I also know for a fact that the customer service is abysmal.
That said, I wouldn't get a Redback either, I've only tapped up one and it was not good.

Get something custom made from myself or one of the other forum sponsors. Likely to be much better value for money and at least you will get something you want and made for you

Having had both I’d say the Redback option is much better value for money but that the sponsors on here can probably find you better

John’s offer is better than the two you have mentioned. Although if you have your heart set on one of those 2 I would go with M&H was not impressed at all with the Redbacks iv owned

I have had both bats. If your heart is set on one then go for the M&H but for the price you would be paying you would be much better off going to a forum sponsor like B3 or Red Ink.

M&H just way over priced... look at forum sponsors or the redback!

M&H are not what they ussed to be and IMO are over priced as they cost an absolute TON of money!
Redback used to be good although I am unsure of the current situation?

It sounds as though you are very fond of your old Redback! If it is a profile you have used well and you could still happily use, why not think about getting it copied?
As Red Ink stated, he could offer a service like that, as could a number on here?

That's quite funny! When I was writing about M&H, I missed out the word NOT from my post. Coincidence that NOT turned back to front is TON!  ;)

It wasn't so long ago that the redback paradox was the forum bat to have.

Remember that... there were some absolute stunners!

I also remember when everyone was after a MB Bubba Sher from Armie was it?

Don't think there's a current stand out brand bat that people are after... seems a bit more shared out these days here...

Also the fad of grains but the board members seem more bothered about performance and quality of grains and less worried about the number these days.

Thanks for the responses, some interesting decisions to be made...

The red ink option sounds very appealing
