Brilliant Bat Bargains
« on: February 22, 2018, 12:09:04 PM »

Might have been done before but fashion goes in cycles.

On the other end of the scale after recent SK GN threads, let's have a look at your absolute bat bargains.

I rarely buy new bats as I get 'the fear' when using them, and hate knocking bats in (and I'm Scottish!). So most of my bats are used ones from here or eBay. Some were good value and some were bargains. I'll post some of mines later on, but feel free to show off your bargains that David Dickenson would be proud of.

This massive Puma cost me about £35 on eBay almost brand new, definitely class it as a bargain:

Don't have it anymore but I got a brand new Puma 5000 bat from a car boot for £12.50.

The lady that sold it to me was selling on behalf of her Grand Son and I think she may have got the amount he wanted horribly wrong!

Photo's required or you didn't love it enough to be a real bargain  ;)

Apologies for digressing but I bought a GN Carbo Evo just before Xmas off EBay unused for £ 40.00  excellent ping the vibration through the handle  is awful specially when the ball hits the toe  can only think it's the Carbon strenghing sheet at the stress point behind the vee at the base  of the handle.
Any thoughts anyone.

If you have 2 pro performances most other bats you try are likely to fall short of those anyway, aren't they  ;)

This from BB has been my match bat for 3 seasons, was definitely a bargain...

I have a very similar one I got from here for around 120, basically unused, that'd be on my list for sure.
