Scaling on inside edge

Good afternoon fellow cricketers. Been living with these scales for a while now. Repaired them with superglue and clamping earlier, but they always open up with time with mallet knocks (yes this bat is in it's knocking in phase). As you can see, the bat has been well oiled too. At first I wasn't worried since the scales were few. But now there are so many that that entire section of the edge makes a hollow noise when tapped with a finger. The scales are too fine and too many now to glue and clamp. Should I just sand them away as best as I can? The middle still pings and no onset of delamination there yet.

its was oiled by me on the first day, and it's never had a scuff sheet on it or any kind of tape on it except for the toe. Plus the outer edge is in perfect condition (well rounded and completely compressed), and was subjected to the same mallet treatment like the inner edge. So, whats your take on the matter now ?

Is it Kashmir? I've only seen damage like that on a Kashmir bat before

Are you based in the UK ?

If so take the bat to a cricket shop and pay for it to be knocked in.

In the long run you will be better off

I'm in Germany. And i purchased the bat in India. i own around 10 Bats, all prepared by me and going great. This is the only one with such a peculiar problem.

Have seen that happen with a bat that was too soft pressed and too much force was used too soon. Did not seem to affect performance too much.
