Hang on fellas, no decision yet! Thats coming tomorrow. I think a year ban, as many suggest, is fair punishment for the crime. Warner may not play again. Smith stripped of captaincy.

If they are lenient I'll be the first to say so, but let's see what they get first. Put the pitchforks back in the shed for now... 😉

Sutherland wouldn't answer the question whether this was cheating or not. The journalist wanted a simple yes or no. His response was this wasn't in the spirit of the game and the laws.

Fair enough if Lehman genuinely didn't know. However, it's happened on his watch and most of all the extremely poor behaviour by players has continually occurred during his time. For that reason I feel it is disappointing that CA have let him stay. This was an opportunity to make a fresh start and change the toxic culture of the team. I'm not sure this is likely to happen under Lehman's leadership.

The idea that three batsmen got together and came up with a new plan to get the ball reversing more without speaking to any of the bowlers about it is pretty hard to believe.

I find it impossible to believe Lehmann had no knowledge of what has gone on.

Do you think the story will change when smith and Warner get 12 month bans which has got to be coming tommorow?

Those two are rightly going to get nailed, the Aussie camp and split and the team is imploding, will they take the rap themselves if there are others involved?

In Lehmann's case I think it possibly is believable he didn't know, but he's still the man in charge. Perhaps more will come after the tour, you'd potentially expect him to be sacked if they think he did know or asked to resign if he didn't.

Lehman’s is still In a. Job.. stinks of cover up as Dave says

He knew.l if he didn’t know he’s not doing his job and when he saw Bancroft doing what he did he should have hauled him off

True - either way to make a clean break - Lehman might step down on his own.

You're assuming that a) Handscomb wasn't sent on to ask Smith what in the living hell was going on and b) that Lehmann - or more accurately the bollocking that he might be surmised to have delivered - was not a big factor in the "leadership group" not attempting to deny it, or to blame Bancroft?

I find it equally hard to believe that a manager can know what all of his charges are doing every second of every day. That's all. Who knows if the other players told the investigators that Lehman tore a strip off the three players? And he did offer to step down. 

Simple answer is, we don't know. Thats all im saying. Smith Warner and Bancroft deserve to get long bans that will most likely end one international career. But i dont want to see players and staff who weren't involved tarred with the same brush. Who would?
