Legend Vs Prestige Pads
« on: March 01, 2018, 10:37:54 AM »

Any fellow forumites have any experience with both the Legend & Prestige pads?

Both say test level protection (Far, far more than I will probably need) but other than the legends being almost double the price what is the main difference between the two?

Looks like people have one or the other which is probably understandable. I looked at the prestige but wasn't that convinced as it had canes like other brands which were better value.

It's the constant praise for Legends that made purchase them, else Id have looked elsewhere for value.

However have gone for the Prestige gloves as I prefer sausage finger gloves. Also didn't want to pay over £50 for a pair of gloves...

Prestige gloves and pads, and now opted for the Legend duffle to mix it up a bit!  ;)

I must admit - I do have 3 sets of FKW! GN, H4L and Kook!
That is bats, pads, 2-3 sets of gloves for each, plus the bags! Jeez! What have I turned into!  :o

Pete, unless there is evidence, this kit doesn't exist. You know the rules...
Oh and Pete you turned into that 9/10 years ago!

Last years range the prestige had 3/4 cane strips, legend had all 11 I think. Not sure if the same this season.

I use the Prestige pads and gloves from last season, fantastic quality.

I know there not mentioned but my pro performance pads came through the door very impressed. Had 3 pair of legends in the past and sold the lot due to a bulky knee and I didn’t like the twisted nature of the top hat. These are much more cup of tea there full cane bar the outer top hat but with less twist and bulk. I have found gn pads a tad smaller this year to but still gone for small men’s

Pro performance are new this year? Been trying to work out where in the range this years prestige kit fits, last seasons gloves were used by Cook in tests, not sure about pads though.

Prestige pads I don’t like they are a tad bulky around the knee I found and the top hat not sitting flush but I guess that maybe me.

Pro performance are like legends really bar cane

They look great. This type always remind me of watching Atherton and Ramps back in the day. Pristine GN pads on a sunny day. I really wanted pads just like theirs.
