Scotland losing by 25 runs but the positive for Scotland is their net run hasn't taken too much of a battering.

Very faint hopes for Scotland after today's reverse to Ireland. Probably having to have to beat Windies

Yup, was that screw up against zimbabwe that will cost us qualification though.

Player from Zimbabwe hit with a bouncer from Roach right inbetween the grill of his Shrey this morning. Seems to have just about done the job of stopping it going through but he left the field.

Brendan Taylor class apart. Looks at ease when at the crease

Sensational 100 by Taylor. 10th odi century. When it's all said and done arguably Zimbabwe's greatest odi batsman

I think Andy Flower might have something to say about that!

Brendan Taylor is good, don't get me wrong, but this Windies attack is hardly world beating. Other than Roach, and maybe Holder, you wouldn't say there is a great deal there to worry about for most International players. They made Moeen look like the best player in the world at Bristol last year!

Andy Flower was a sensational Test batsman less so in limited overs cricket. Secondly Flower's Zimbabwe was considerably stronger than Taylor's.

West Indies with that win have more or else booked their place into the World Cup.

Scotland's last group match is against West Indies. Zimbabwe have the underperforming UAE. Tough ask for the Scottish boys.

Game on, would have taken this sort of a chase this morning, presuming they don't go mental in the last few.

Think Scotland chase this?

For me they do, West Indies dropping Bishoo for Brathwaite suggests to me there are no huge demons to be expected. A few Scottish spinners took wickets but again not like it turned a mile or offered drastic amounts of variable bounce. Scotland cant have asked for much more than this for an opportunity.
