Club net - looking for an option whilst away with work (corby/kettering)

Hi all,

Season is getting closer but as I'm spending a few nights a week away with work I was wondering if any forum members had nets mid week that I could possibly join - especially if helps keep he numbers healthy and cover costs.

I'm working in Corby (kettering) so anywhere close by would be a bonus really.

I'm no proper cricketer, just a club man that has perfected a good leave that just happens to look like a swing and a miss and can (the majority of the time) keep the ball out of the side netting when bowling!

@Boondougal you are welcome to join us again mate, same venue as last time you netted with us, Tuesday evenings 6 til 7. We did a few sessions in Feb and then paused to run a junior program, tonight will be the 3rd of 4 junior sessions we are doing, so senior stuff will start up again on the 20th, running until the start of the season.

Wow... lots of clubs in the area. Cheers for the info.

Ideally if I could connect into a forum member that would be best, we welcome anyone to ours and I know most clubs are the same but given there is 100% zero chance of me playing for the club I didn't want to be taking valuable net time away from others. A forum member might just be able to judge if it would be ok for me too come along.
