An emergency chairmens meeting on the 29th has been called. It in the article it looks Glamorgan were helped with a payment to deal with creditors. Just a shame that Durham weren't given the same leeway as Glamorgan.

Durham should sue the ECB.

They should certainly challenge the current plans for Cardiff. Seems the Welsh assembly got a much better deal than they did.

Turns out that Glamorgan actually got 2.5 million for not applying for a Test match. If I was Durham I would be going mental! Surely Graves time is up.

It's a pretty shocking revelation, will be a very lively meeting when the chairmen meet up! Not sure how Graves can stay Durham got given 3.5m and relegated and points deducted!

"The Times understands that ....... Headingley will receive £1 million, Old Trafford will receive £500,000 and Southampton will also receive £2.5 million."

Wouldn't it be more efficient to give the money directly to Cricket South Africa? They can pay the Kolpaks to stay at home and we can give some kids a go.

This absolutely stinks.as I posted at the time Durham CC were treated absolutely terribly.

Glamorgan CC gets funds from the Welsh assembly, has done for years, so yes, that's taxpayers money.

Graves should go and get someone in who can remodel the whole thing including TV rights.

Very generous for the ECB to give Glamorgan 2.5 million for not hosting a test match. If I was one of the smaller counties I would be demanding the ECB to receive some of that money as well.

Richard Thompson is a good guy. Things must be bad at the ECB.

External review to take place about the payment given to Glamorgan.
