Not got a clue what you�ve just asked me Tush! Please forgive my ignorance
Are you asking what the finished weight of the bats will be based on the cleft weight?

Justin, it�s a steady 30 degrees in there, so nothing extreme, I�ll weigh em tomorrow and see what they are like as I�ve left em out overnight .

Yeah just checked they�ve both put a tiny bit back on

Haha yes, is there a number that the batmakers know so if the cleft is 3lb 13oz the bat will 2lb 13oz or it always varies. I was asking if you'd be able the guess the finished weight based on cleft weight.

I suppose if you cut the clefts to a specific size and weigh em etc and do the whole volume thing, then yes definitely.

But tbh I�m playing at it at the minute,,,the clefts have been cut by Justin,, I�ll take em down to workable size and go from there.

Gotta pull me finger out and build a new press first!ha

My thought is just to leave enough space on the back of the bats so that every forum user who gives them a go can sign their name, or just leave their mark, on the bat they prefer. Then we can keep score over time.
