I love @Northern monkey bats (I have 2), however he and I disagree about how to show off the profiles of his bats (he claims it's because I am a Southern softy), I'm reluctant to admit he may be right.

I wonder if his shots sometimes do them justice, so especially for the simple-minded of us on here, I've attached a photo of one of his profiles side-on, which I happen to think is a thing of beauty and absolutely love!

Cheers Brucie

Yeah both different,,,I call it offset, offset edge, do you think it will catch on?
Hopefully yes, they are both the same, and it’s just the angle of dangle of the pictures
Looks great as always mate 👌 Are the edge sizes different, or is it just the angle?

Definitely, why not?! 😆

I just wondered if it was something funky someone had requested to have. You never know!

I much prefer traditional bat shapes myself and that side shot is the nicest profile I’ve seen so far from NM

It’s just a beautiful shape!

And also, even though it looks like I have a massive weapon, it picks up like an Angel's fart, and cut's through the air like the Grim-reaper's scythe

Your joking Canners?
Nothings too good for Brucie ha
Lovely bloke, if I can’t make a decent bat for somebody who appreciates one, I wouldn’t bother
The money doesn’t interest me,,the process does,,that’s all I make the bats for.

If people want to pay for them, then that’s a bonus,,

That’s a Stunning piece of willow. Also looks like you have done that justice with the shape any chance of a side in shot as looks a lovely mid/high middle

Thank you,,,, it’s actually quite a low middle on it,, it’s just that it’s a very thick toe,35mm ish,,, the profiles based on my old Toro, but slightly bigger overall,,, the shoulders are dropped 30mm , etc
Finished weight is under 2.11,,, picks up like a feather,(I used one for three seasons at this weight, normally I’m a strict 2.9)
Big fan of this shape,, and can’t believe I’ve not made one sooner

I’ll finish polishing it properly tomorrow and sticker it up etc, and take some better pics

In the loft! Doesn’t it deserve better than that? I’m sure I could give it a good home
