Lovely little Harrow,off out
Love this profile,, matches my old match bat, zero concaving, decent toe, short blade, longer handle.
Still got decent edges and spine on it, but has a really good spread of willow..
This is for a young lad in Sth Africa who’s had a few bats off me over the years,, always nice to help youngsters out with a decent bat..

This is a copy of a good friends bat, enjoyed shaping this a lot, picks up very nice for the weight

Oh come on, you're just showing off now.

Stunning, the way you shape your bats has a certain elegance to it, the edge profile from the shoulder to the centre of the toe is almost painting-esque! Top work again Mark, really do love seeing your craftsmanship. :)

Cheers Chad,AJ, and Mark for the kind words.
This shapes not an easy one to do, as the lines of the spine and the edges had to flow,,I wanted the pick up to reflect the amount of wood in the hitting area, but still be decent for playing the short balls, this lad will face..
He’s a decent batter that opens, so he will usually face quicker bowling, so needs to be able to play his shots..

His existing bat was an m&h, made at Taunton whilst he watched,(bit of a rarity these days but hey ho) so was nice trying to recreate it, but add my touches to it.

They're definitely flowing 👌
Think it's mid high profile, from the looks of these pics

That is just beautiful to look at :)  The finish, the lines and sharpness of all the edge work is super crisp.  From my little dabble of batmaking I can really appreciate just how hard it is to get a good looking spine through to the toe.  Outstanding job!

I keep thinking your photography must be the secret, but I have a feeling good photography would only show up all the flaws with my handywork :D
Not a flaw to be seen anywhere with your work.  I honesty run out of superlatives.
