@Kulli that GM looks beautiful now!!! great job and totally agree about CA stickers - they are shocking to get off and put on - not sure why they make them like that, it is not even like they are that special/different to others - find it rather odd

Was looking for ages, was a bloke in Oz who had this set and a set of 15000, got a mate to bring them over.

The Malik should scrub up well, with some skilled work the GM might be usable but I think it’s unlikely to retain much longevity/performance.

I have this Uzi of unknown origins to clean up, fair bit of delamination though so not sure how much of a performer it’ll be, should look nice though.

Nice work, @Kulli

Never mind the CA stickers. How on Earth did you get new Maxi ones?  :o

The Malik after the majority of the work - needs a fine sand and to restring the handle:

The GM - pretty happy with this and will hopefully sort out as a spare bat/net bat - again needs a fine sand, the handle stringing and a little more cleaning up around the shoulders:

Have you dowelled the shoulder of the GM as I think that’s prob the only way it will have any longevity.

Ps is there any filler on the Malik... sorry it's related to another thread... and how does the Malik handle compare to the GM and UZI?

@Yorkershire - thanks!! - there was filler on the malik handle, but strangely it wasn't covering anything/couldn't see the reason for it when i sanded the filler off - the handle seems decent - not as good quality as the GM, but not one of the super cheap/terrible ones you can get on some bats from India/Pakistan

Just out of curiosity how are you are binding the handles?

i put white medical tape around the handle first, then do it by hand with wood glue, normally works fine
