I've only got a steel horizontal band saw, maybe I'll make a jig to hold it and use the table saw.
That’s a better option. Easy to make jig to hold the bat vertical.just take the riving knife off.

Here is my latest before /after

Can anyone identify the model? Is it a Puma Ballistic? The handle was replaced before I got it. Some awkward cracks to fix on the inside toe but seems sound now.

Does anyone have suitable stickers for it? Would prefer the original Puma ones.

There are original Puma stickers on eBay for 8.99 posted, albeit not the original ones.

That is a great outcome @Psi well done.

I’ve just finished doing a refurb on a friend’s bat which had loads of grain tear-out from when stickers had previously been removed. Took a load of before pictures, completely forgot about the after ones...

Thank you. There was some grain test out on this one too :I removed the scuff sheet a bit too quickly and it pulled a bit of grain off. More patience next time...

Here’s an old G&M Catalyst 808 from a friend. It was generally looking a bit tired and had an ugly, but not too serious crack along the edge. Sorted the crack, cleaned up the face, new grip, scuff sheet and edge tape.

I'm sure these take a lot of time but seeing the pictures makes me very tempted to try a reno on an ebay dog. Very satisfying seeing an old bat revived.

I like the colour of the stickers too - not enough pale blue around IMHO
