Black Cat Joker *Sneak Peek*
« on: February 12, 2010, 06:54:18 PM »

"Pics of Black Cat's revolutionary new bat, the Joker."
Hopefully Charlie can tell us about the revolution  8)

Looks pretty thick, can't see a splice or am I getting this wrong and the stickers are not stuck on a cricket bat?

Interested to see what it looks like and how much better it is than a regular bat. Always like to see people pushing the boundaries and would love to see these new bats take off. We were told we'd never sell 10 bats by some in the industry so would love a huge revolution.

Yer might give the big companies a kick up the backside, so they realise they cant continue producing inferior quality products

Love that sticker- a joker emblem would sum up my batting efforts most of the time too!

Just looking at this again, the handle seems to not be central. Is that correct or just the image?

Is that also a splice or just a different shade of wood on the far side of the photo?

Maybe we can just see one side of the bat? That could be the splice but the other half of the bat is hidden by the steep spine going all the way up...

Haha you may have a point there and probably more likely although my explanation made it more exciting.

By your description I was imagining a traditional bat with the handle to the left hand side!

I was slightly confused as well as I thought at first it was the face, but of course it is the back. Looks quite interesting and will look forward to seeing the shape.

Playing devils advocate though, you'd have to give any batsmen using one a few words wouldn't you... "who's the real joker... bat or batsmen" or "no wonder you use that bat with shots like that" etc etc.

Charlie - A bit off topic, however I'm sure you know but when you type anything like "black cat cricket" in Google nothing comes up towards the website, maybe worth getting adWords or something along those lines.

Because his site is basically 90% flash, personally I never click on any adwords ad's the way I see it is if a site needs to buy adwords they havn't done their SEO properly.
