Black Cat Cricket
« on: May 30, 2018, 12:18:56 PM »

Does anyone know if black cat cricket are still in business? Used to have a shadow and was the best bat i've owned, i remember all the hype for the joker when it launched but idk if they're still in business. Website is still live but prices and info hasn't changed in years.

Pic of the old bat's death, 23 grain wonder weapon.

They are, send us an email asking about how to crack the Norwegian market a month or so ago.

Do you know if they are a sticker brand now or still make them themselves?

Historically they have grown their own willow and outsourced the bat making.
I don't know if that is still the case.

I still have a (UK made) Voodoo and Shadow. They are crazy and not surprised as he was so fussy about the quality.
Remember hearing that he went travelling but unsure whagt happened after that. Not sure if the same batmaker would make them anymore as he has his own brand and is no doubt kept busy.
Or maybe he is still travelling?
Black Cat was a great quality cricket brand and the quality of willow, bats and branding was top notch! We miss them!!

Would be very tempted to purchase a shadow this year if they're still active.

I had a couple of Jokers.
Both taken by friends who won’t give it back now.

I bought my son a size 6 shadow a few years ago.Fantastic bat weighed 2.7.
He went from a 13 year old kid who couldn't get it off the square to smacking boundaries.
If they are still using the same bat maker you can't go wrong with a Black Cat.
