Fixture Wanted 26th July

Unfortunately our usual touring side for the Thursday of cricket week have pulled out of their tour.

This means we have a slot available on Thursday 26th July to play Kilve CC in West Somerset

Lovely ground, by the sea & cracking teas.

The school holidays have started by then and we play 7 days straight against casual & touring  teams like Lloyds Bank, SouWesters & Sponsors XI

Any ideas from the forum?

Do you know a side that would like a trip to the seaside? Do you think we could get a CBF XI out?

Happy to have a spot of lunch at 1pm and play 40 overs from 2pm if it means just having an afternoon off...

And let CBF bat first - obviously

I'll be on holiday that week in Taunton so although I'm not the most active member of the forum I'd offer myself up if you needed numbers for a CBF XI.

Oh and I'm 50 in July as well so I'll be open to offers of birthday drinks :-)

That’s not true Dave. You told me of all the xl club fixtures you were planning to play. Are you playing against castle on 2 July?
Get the team list posted tylo. We will have 11 batsmen and no bowling. Is there a sister ‘custombowling’ Website? Game on

This sounds very promising, 8 possible players already without including tylo/james. At least a couple of bowlers so far too, does anyone other than me and Dorset bowl seam?
