« on: June 30, 2018, 01:01:03 AM »

Hi All,

This is my first post on this forum.
I have read few of the post here and know that the forum is created for promoting the UK based manufactures.
But I just want you guys to give a honest view of a Cricket kit that a relative on mine is getting me as a gift.
So I have not seen the kit in person but here are few things that he mentioned to me regarding the kit(Bat, Pads and Gloves)
I have not used many different brands myself, have been using team kits mostly(GM and Larsons mostly), I am kinda weekends cricketer.
So here are few pics and specs (that I have been told )

GLOVES:
Manufacturer : New Greyhound (* never heard of this manufacturer)
Size: Small men
Type : Sausage finger
Palm: English lamb (As told  to me)
Protection: High Density foam, fiber/plastic insert on each finger
Wrist : Normal towel type stuff

PADS:
Manufacturer : New Greyhound (* never heard of this manufacturer)

Weight : No idea.

Please share your honest thoughts, comments, reviews, criticism.
I know nothing much can be said by just looking the pics but…

Looks fine, nothing different to what is already out. Bit meh.

English lamb for a palm of a glove is an interesting one.

New Greyhound is decent kit, make for a few of the forum sponsors - top end stuff is pricey but good quality.
