I think the cleft was exceptionally light - these don’t come every day.

They are running a sale and I placed an order for another bat with a bit more humane specs, yet still a little extreme

38 mm edges
108 mm face width
Some concaving
Weight: 2 lbs and 6 Oz

Cost US$150.00 including international shipping.

The bat arrives Nov 28 - will post the pics.

Yes, personally I always recommend AS bats over any other Pakistani brand.

You can send a direct email to waqas@assports.com

Include detail on your bat specs and he will reply back with affirmation

All the best!

I have also ordered one. Their sale finished on Sunday, I was just in time to get the discounted price

My specs are simple, 2lb 6oz in SH which they promised wont be a problem. Lets see what I get

Top range bat at this price, seems too good to be true

Ordered 1 too - Players grade unbranded.. they were considerate enough to give me the same offer even though I ordered a little late.

Seems like a few of us have bought during their sale. Can people please post updates here?

I was advised that the bat is being prepared per my request (2lb 6oz in size SH). I made it clear that I don't want 2.6lb :-)

The bat was ready within 4/5 days and was promptly shipped. However, they use some (No Swearing Please) courier service. Tracking is available but never updated. It has been five days since shipment but seems like the parcel is still in Karachi.

However, so far all good. Must say that their communication has been pretty good.  Lets see what I get, when I get it

Mine is here but there is a story behind it.

I had a friend visting Sialkot - and he went to the factory to pick up the bat at my request

He arrived back to the US yesterday n visited me last night to hand over the bat.

I swear to God the bat looks ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR !! It’s still sealed in the plastic. I picked and it felt heavier than 2 lbs and 6 Oz - it’s impossible to have this size of bat at 2 lbs n 6 Oz - the edges are 40 mm, minimum concaving and a thick toe.

I think it’s at least 2.8 if not 2.9

My scale is broken so I can’t weigh it. (Just ordered a new kitchen scale).

So I asked my friend how was the trip?

He said, since he was visiting from the U.S., they gave him a special factory tour.

They showed him a batch of 3 bats  made for some international player of Pak team. So my friend said that the bat that was made for me had a small blemish on the face so he asked them if he could pick one from that batch instead? They said it’s up to u since you are our guest from abroad. So he picked the one he thought was the best looking and lightest one. And he left mine there.

I have to weigh the bat and then send an e-mail to Waqas to either ship me my original bat or whittle me a new one.

But to be honest with you, I think my demand was unfair and unrealistic to begin with.

How can you have a full size bat with 38 mm edges in 2 lbs n 6 Oz?  lol.
But who knows if they have sent my original bat to you ??? 😀

I will post the pics ASAP

So here are some pics taken by my cell phone.

The edge size is around 42 mm if you look closely - I wonder how would it have passed the ICC clamp for an international player? This is too big.
Toe is a monster at 35 + mm in the middle
65 mm spine
There is no concaving.

I took it to my local grocery store and put it on scale - and no wonder it's 2 lbs and 10 Oz. I knew it, there was NO WAY in the world it would have been even close to 2 lbs and 6 Oz. That's impossible.

Yes, the bat is a monster, and picks up extremely light, *BUT* I am slightly disappointed. It's not the weight that I wanted. I would rather had it with 35 mm edge with reasonable concaving and perhaps a thinner toe but in 2.7, if not 2.6.

This one still looks like a great bat though - it's huge !

Sending an email to Waqas to see if they still have my original bat, and if yes, they need to put it on a scale, take a photo and if 2.6 or 2.7, then mail it to me.

Did you check the width? Bat makers reduce the width to make bats (with thicker edges) pass the clamp test.

Great bat Sitonit.

Not good if the weight is not what you were after

Btw my bat has finally arrived in Australia, let’s see when I receive it
