Grainy Surge Bargain
« on: August 26, 2018, 02:09:29 AM »

Managed to pick this up last week!

20/21 grains, full profile, pretty significant edges
Reasonably thick semi oval handle by today's standards, low middle that extends a long way up the blade, duckbill toe and All coming in at 2.9 on the scales and taps up sensationally.

Unbelievably it is an example of the lowest grade in the Surge range for the Australian Market.

I did the exact same, picked up a surge that looks pretty much the same of this, huge 38mm edges with a full profile at 2.9.  Responds sensationally and all for $130!!

Crazy! I'm not sure how Kookaburra justify grading these down, nothing about the bat would warrant grading anything lower than a grade 2, but i won't argue  :D
