Without doubt the greatest sleeveless jumper was the Nike one with a zip collar that India wore a few years ago

Nearly impossible to find to buy anymore.
I'm no stickler for tradition but this is genuinely ban-worthy! Without a doubt the worst cricket garment ever.

Anyone know a decent supplier who could do a traditional jumper at reasonable cost?

Now Ed, I was going to let this slide but then I remembered the “batting with a go-pro” incident ;-) and thought I’d argue my case...

A thing of aesthetic beauty & practicality

Look at the cables on that! Low cut for additional cleavage.

Ha! Yours are at least better than the India ones, but really... you even had to mention how practical it was.

The greatest jumper ever.

Although KL Rahul looked immaculate at the oval

Club colours do a decent job. Not sure of any forum sponsors do them.

Personally I still prefer the fleecy options despite owning this...

I have watched two Championship matches this week - Surrey vs Essex (on TV, what a match) and I popped up to Trent Bridge on Wednesday to see the last bit of Notts play Somerset (oh dear, Notts). In both matches one team wore a trad cable knit (Surrey and Somerset) and the oppo wore the modern plain fleece (Essex and Notts).

The  cable knit teams looked like adults vs a junior team (in appearance, not performance). Perhaps it just reflects my age...
