I remember David Curtis doing a blog on these and digging up an old, similar patent. I love how 2 very distinct ideas, from centuries apart, are similar in concept. No idea if/how the tech works but nice to see something different.

Interesting historical find there Tom, wonder if Kippax would like to try to make one as an experiment and compare it with the wavex handle.

Digging up an old thread. I have been using my teammates Kippax problade for a few weeks. He had been using it for about 3 seasons and a poor shot led to the bat splitting across the toe. He had given up on it so i took it off him and repaired it using wood glue and dowels and been testing it to see if it would last. Im not the type of batsman who middles a lot and I can testify that i have not felt any vibrations or shock in my hands at all playing with this bat as compared to my other bats. Not sure about the increase in power but i did hit a six off the bottom of the bat just today without feeling anything in my hands. Will be doing a detailed video soon on my channel
