19 Sri Lankan wickets falling to spin this test.

Safe to say none of them have performed well enough? Yeah ok :)

Love watching spinners in tandem, especially leggies/left arm at one end and offies at the other. Both edges of the bat come into play and the over rates are good.

Was just thinking if Curran is injured, do we have a realistic  chance of finally seeing Stokes, Foakes, Woakes in the same team!  :D :D :D

With a top class keeper behind the stumps? Me too!

All we need now is to stop the nonsense first/ second spinner talk!

Foakes was faultless with the gloves in both matches. It's a real skill to make keeping wicket look that easy. He's got some pair of hands that lad.

To my eye he looks more natural than the other two behind the sticks... Like wicket-keeping was what he was born to do. He's just so, so good.

Bairstow still sulking over losing the gloves. Getting a bit embarrassing

I like Bairstow, but can't help but feel it's another sacrificial lamb at #3

More of a problem is who gets demoted to 8?

Ali, as he's had a poor series? Pretty big drop in 3 tests from no 3!
Foakes? Well batted mate, you've saved us a few times. Oh, by the way, you're batting 8.
Can't imagine they'd dare putting Stokes there, and Buttler has been one of our best players for a while now.

Bit of a square peg for a round hole, replacing Curran with Bairstow.

Bairstow's press statements have been utterly embrassing recently.  He has turned into a caricature of Geoffrey Boycott reciting his own stats at any given opportunity.  The fact is that his batting has been no better than the likes of Vince, Stonemam or Malan over the last 2 years and he is very lucky that England have decided to change the balance of a winning side just to accomadate him.

Right decision to rest Anderson but he and Broad would have been much better sitting out this tour on preparation for next summer.  The seamers have been redundant out here. The only one who could have made a difference is Stone with his extra pace and it looks like he won't get a go
