A chance yes but not sure it was a dolly. Broad is bowling wheels and the slips are a lot closer than they would do normally.

Well that's the second one down off broad who is boiling heat is bowling his nuts off

Very very hard for the bowlers and hats off to broad his pace is up

Not good enough in the slips by a long way I'm afraid

There are better slip fielders in the side than root, but still he continues to position himself there

I'm not sure there are to be fair, not at first anyway. Definite problem with selecting Broad as your only seamer is that noone likes taking catches off him! I can see Jennings getting a bowl in this innings...

Phenomenal catch from Foakes. That's the standard now.

I think those of us who watch Surrey knew that once Foakes was in, it would be in for keeps. It was just a case of when it would happen, rather than if.

I think we've long known he was top quality as a glove man. Question will be how his batting holds up against top quality pace during the Ashes and in South Africa.

Yep for a tall man he gets low down also  has  fast reactions.
Rashid getting plenty of revs on the ball shows his importance to England also under bowled by Root his series.

Foakes just took one to the little finger. Which looked battered(probably previous injuries all keepers hands are battered)

I’d love England to give the gloves to Buttler if he has to go off, just to see bairstow a face......
