Just had a good look through the new range, partially the Diamond. looks like they have gone on they're fancy DXM computer and searched 'Flare'. they look very similar to me.

Yes, Diamond looks the same as the old flare but with the shortened blade. Flare shape with full blade length and an inch lower middle would have been perfect shape instead. However, I wonder if Stokes will be really using a shortened blade..

Yes but does he use a 540 blade

I agree a flare full length with lower middle would have been perfect
It also has no concaving or very little

The Diamond is the same shape as the Flare....drools incessantly over the keyboard.

My favourite bat ever was a Flare and I was gutted when it was discontinued. Not now though ;)

Having switched last year to a Neon from previously a Chrome and before that always standard 540 SH blades the transition was effortless and is hardly noticeable. Also personally feel it’s improved my game. Of course this is subjective and my opinion but think it’s really all in the mind

If the Diamond is a slightly shorter blade Flare-esque bat... Which itself was Purist esque... I think GM have made my dream cricket bat!!! :D  :D  :D I see at least an 808 in my future, maybe higher... I love the stickers this year @Edward Lowy , my favourite of the recent iterations.

Would love to take the credit, but GM 2019, the finest cricket range ever unleashed, is nothing to do with me. Stand up Messrs Coffey, Jones, Tebbutt and the inimitable Ms Isherwood keeping all the hopeless boys under control. This is their range and it is beautiful.

Impressive range! Overall appearance has gone to another level! Can see myself adding a noir and perhaps another haze to my bat stocks. If only the wheelie duffle was available in the stealth black on black :(

I would say the 909 is worth the extra money as you get Grade 1 willow and the top quality handle.
