Thinking of grabbing one of the new GM's.

Looking for something with a low middle and a light pick up, so I'm thinking the Mythos.

I'm not sure anyone has picked up on this (apologies if they have) but the range this year has become gender natural with the sizes being changed to Small Adult and Large Adult etc from Womens.

Another thing to note is the lack of a 'female' bat in the range.

Just interesting to notice as this topic is very prominent in the media at the moment, for one I think GM have done the correct thing here.

This is a good change. As the cricket equipment doesn't really change based on gender but on size instead, the change to juniors/small adult/adult etc. makes more sense.

I bought a signature Noir from @Six Sixes Cricket. The bat arrived yesterday and I pleased to say that I am delighted with the bat. For £130, the bat is superb. Lovely balance and performance from just tapping up with an old bat is excellent. There is no need to spend fortunes on bats when you can get such great quality at a lovely grade. Well done @Edward Lowy and all at GM cricket  :)

Ball for womens is smaller and lighter, think pace is usually lower. Not sure what effect that has on the best bat design, maybe you could have a lighter bat, or more wood taken put of shoulders without the risk of it breaking.

Agree entirely. I picked up a Diamond at same grade from the same place and it’s got more than an passing feel to my old flare.
The pick up is incredible. High middle. No concaving

Do we know the reason why the introduced the Signature and Signature LE to an already fairly crowded list.

Is it just that Signature as a name makes it easier to buy a mid-range bat than 707, or is there something else I'm missing?

Either way they seem to be turning out som belters at that price.

Weren’t the signatures initially for 5 star dealers only?

I will ask the question though!

That was what I thought, but doesn't seem to still be the case. Just wondered what makes a bat a Signature rather than a 707, or a Sig LE rather than a 909 etc.

Sig LE seems to be a 909 equivalent (or between that and the Original).
RRP for a regular sig seems to be about 150, Sig LE around 300.
