Hi All,

We are currently taking pre-orders for the new Gray-Nicolls 2019 range. As always we will be picking out our bats from the Grays factory/warehouse in Robertsbridge soon, so please feel free to DM or email with requests or just place your orders online at www.vks.com

The Shockwave Pro Performance in the video is available for sale if anyone is interested. Likewise we also have a Supernova Pro-Performance that we had for our promo photos available too. Photos of the bats can also be seen on our Instagram page.

All the best,

Vinay

I always assumed that GN was UK based, and GM has its factory in India. Not sure though...

I'm not quite sure to be honest, as personally I don't feel it makes any difference. Gray-Nicolls cut all the willow down, at their factory in Robertsbridge. Its then shaped into clefts, kiln dried and graded. Its only then that the willow is sent to their own factory in India to be made up and then shipped back.

The QC process is therefore second to none...in my opinion. Having tested the Shockwave, Powerbow, Powerspot and Supernova bats we have at the moment, I don't they would be any better or worse if they were made in either of the locations.

They save that much money shopping to India shipping back etc

So the pros bats are made in UK only

No not specifically. I've seen numerous pro bats being picked out from the bats manufactured at the Grays factory in India. If something specific is required then yes they have the capabilities and manpower to make them at Robertsbridge.

GM manufacture their bats in Nottingham.
