£35 bargain £25 Bargain & 2 £15 Bargains
« on: September 26, 2018, 05:24:09 PM »

Just tidied this up... was new but a few dents from transit & dog eared stickers

So stickers removed - grip replaced - I’m sure you will be able to identify it for a bit of fun

Morally dubious challenge - how much could you sell it on eBay for if you write 'f*ck it' on the handle?

I think knowing where these bats come from (handles even have same stamps) it’s incredible that people pay more money for just different stickers.
You don’t see many New Balances on here for that reason & the plethora of fake stickers

But the kids love them, and I’ve answered my own question.

Off to find a sharpie ;-)

I got one of those bad boys, for a tenner more when they were in the sale. Taps up okay too, and picks up quite nicely. Like you say the price difference between them and a g3 nb bat is incredible.

Total bargain. Makes me think of a kit up challenge, £100 for bat, pads, gloves, box and thigh pad maybe?

I did the same thread a few years back and was amazing what people could pick up. Think it was set at £100 them maybe a new thread topic with budget reduced to £75

I think you could leave the limit as is and still have great fun - would uncover a whole bunch of interesting bargains, such as:

Would that be a 100 quid challenge where you cant buy all the items from Sports Direct?  :D

Interesting challenge... I do vaguely remember reading the posts...

The only rule was £100 or less, you could buy whatever you liked from wherever.
The judging was done on price and quality of the kit though, so it was a bit of fun looking for top end stuff at low prices

Great challenge, should we resurrect it?  Or should we start anew?  Or just not bother at all and reminisce?
