Ouch!!!  Has anyone seen the score so far in the warm up game? who'd be a seamer in Ceylon.

I'm expecting the Woakes haters to come out in force - although Mo bowled tidily again. Interesting to see Wood getting a run out.

Looks like 3-4 spinners needed in the 50 over stuff too!

Looks like they gave 4 seamers a run out in warm up match to see how they all got on?
I suspect they will try the seamers as much as possible and just pick a couple for the actual full Internationals?
We need loads of spinners over there!!   ;)

Played in a league match this year a left arm spinner changed and bowled right arm brisk medium pace.

That was the game we had the argument about who exactly tells who there's a change of action

I have also played against a lad who could bowl with both arms.  I am not knowledgeable enough to understand whether there is an underlying reason why a person has a dominant hand or whether it is just a case if practice that makes one hand your natural hand, but a I guess there is no reason in principle why everyone couldn't learn to do it if they wanted to spend twice as much time practicing

Guy at our club regularly throws it in with his non dominant hand but can’t bowl with it

Forgot to add he can bat both right and left handed, the man is incredible

Debut for Olly Stone and England playing 3 spinners with Liam Dawson coming into the side.

No Wood, Willey or Plunkett so it's safe to say England have a lot of depth in the bowling department

Yep Plukett back for third  ODI onwards.
Good start by England against the seamers 40 for 0  spin on now would have thought Sri would have started with spin against Roy.

Before this game Roy averaged 105 with the bat against Sri Lanka.
