I'd like to see him bat in an old Skool cable knit we used to wear back at in the day if he thinks he's hard from Yorkshire.

They used to weight about 15 kilos

Would much prefer to have seen Denly given the nod before Hales. Another option with the ball on a turning track, and a damn site better fielder

Yep exactly. He's a good cricketer Denly, delighted he is in England colours hope in the tests he bats top 3 and is given a chance

I know it's a completely different format etc and not even remotely similar but do find it slightly funny Root has no issue batting at three in one dayers.
