With all his variations left arm and into the surface slower bowl he's the death bowler England have been looking for.
He reminds me enormously of Dernbach.
For anyone watching is Stokes still using his Zelos, or the new Diamond range?
Thankfully neither Sam or Tom Curran are actually much like Jade Dernbach at all.
He does bowl some good slowies but not sure he's quite got the ambidextrous changeup! I worry he's a little Chris Jordan - yes he usually does a good job at the death, but you can't hold down a place just for those 5 overs, you need to offer more than that. Given he bowls 75%+ of his overs at the death I don't think run a ball is too bad an economy rate mind. Call me crazy but if we want a medium pace slower ball merchant I'd pick Benny Howell instead! More realistically it's Willey's spot.
a potential test batsman to me.
4-3 Roy 4 Hales 0 Buttler 0. Little bit of swing and we can't cope
