After the first Test was such a thrilling contest, the second match in Dubai is currently being played on a ridiculously slow pitch. Literally a bowlers graveyard. Shame as the first match was a classic

So I guess it wasn't a bowler's graveyard then?

Mohammed Abbas Injured for the 3rd Test and potentially the series against South Africa, what terrible luck, but that might pave the way for young Shaheen, Been impressed with his limited overs performances and he's still not 20!

Hopefully Abbas isn't badly hurt as I wanted to see the battle in South Africa against Steyn and Philander

I hope so too conditions over there would be much more favourable than the U.A.E. Also don't forget Rabada off that list he is the real deal with a mean streak in him- just what you want from your fast bowler :D

Bbc sport reporting it’s not as bad as first feared and should be available for sa

I am a big fan of Yasir Shah but don't think he has a decent googly in his arsenal.

Hopefully they don't bring Amir back. He is not as potent as before.

To be fair He's been doing well since he's return to the domestic set up has taken 20 odd wickets at an average of ~15. But I understand what your saying but he might be a bowler worth taking on a tour that may offer assistance to the seamers just don't make him an automatic pick in the the playing XI. Hassan and Abbas are the 1st choice seamers and are doing a good job. I have a feeling Pak might pick Faheem Ashraf as the seam bowling allrounder similar to how they did when they toured Ireland and England.

Quite similar to Warne in that sense, as Warnie never had googly either (particularly in the 2nd half of his career). But would be interesting to see if Pak go with 2 leggies in the final test and play Shadab- who has a very good googly. Plus Shadab offers a better batting option lower down the order than Bilal Asif. Also I'd like to see Fakhar come and replace Hafeez at the top of the order.

Hafeez, another failure. Cannot see Pak taking him to SA for the test series he has not had a score in Tests since his comeback century against the Aussies  :o

Hafeez to retire from tests. Is he not bowling to protect himself from being called for chucking? Save himself for the WC
